# Reviewing Protocol DARF Notes

## Vestigo Verify users can review drug-level DARF notes from a protocol’s Inventory tab or generate a DARF for the most complete review, including inventory-specific notes that are not visible on the Inventory tab.

At any time, IDS users can leave DARF notes on an entire drug or individual drug builds. These notes resemble NTF's (Note to File), and depending on the institution, they may replace paper NTF's.

There are two ways to review DARF notes on a protocol: [by generating a DARF](https://verifyhelp.mccreadiegroup.com/en/knowledgebase/generating-a-drug-accountability-record-form-darf?hsLang=en), or by reviewing the Inventory tab. The DARF will be the easiest and most efficient method of reviewing DARF notes.

If the Inventory Tab does not show any links that include Show DARF Notes, that doesn't mean that there are none recorded, it only means none are recorded against the entire drug. There may be some recorded at the inventory level against a specific inventory, which are only visible on the DARF.

 

### Inventory Tab - Note on Drug Build

1. On the Vestigo Verify Homepage - My Visits Tab, click on **View Protocols** for an active visit
2. Locate the protocol to review and click on **View Protocol** 
     1. Depending on how the site setup the visit, Verify users may have multiple protocols on one visit.
3. Click on the **Inventory** tab
4. Click **Show DARF Notes**
