# Requesting Site Availability Using Contact Site

## A guide on how to request Site Availability using Contact Site pathway.

Only the IDS team can schedule monitor visits. Vestigo Support is unable to assist with these requests, or are we able to give a contact at the site. 

1. On the **My Protocols** tab
2. Locate the Protocol for the visit
3. Select the **Contact Site** link

4. In the *Request Type* menu, select **Request Availability

5. In the Message to Site, enter all information pertaining to when you would like to visit the site.
6. Click the blue **Save** button

The site will receive an alert in the main facility on the protocol that allows IDS staff to Schedule a Visit, Add Site Availability to the Calendar, or Respond.

If the site chooses **Schedule a Visit** or **Respond**, you will receive an email to your email with their response, or information about a scheduled visit. If the site only adds availability to the IDS calendar, you will need to check using the [Request Visit](https://verifyhelp.mccreadiegroup.com/en/knowledgebase/requesting-a-site-visit-in-vestigo-verify?hsLang=en) function.

To check if your message was acknowledged by the IDS team, click on the **My Communication History** Tab, change the radio button to **Requests sent to Sites** and click **Search**. If it says *Resolved*, the IDS team has acted on it.
