# Removing An Action Item

## If you accidentally submitted an action item during a visit, it can be removed using one of two available methods.

 

### From an Active Visit

If the visit is still active, you can remove the Action Item from the Visit Notes tab.

1. On the Vestigo Verify Homepage - My Visits Tab, click on **View Protocols** for an active visit
2. Locate the protocol to review and click on **View Protocol** 
     1. Depending on how the site setup the visit, Verify users may have multiple protocols on one visit.
3. Click on the **Visit Notes** tab
4. Locate the Action Item and click **Edit** on the right side
5. In the **Action Item Status**, select *Removed

6. Click **Save**

 

### **From a Past Visit**

1. On the Vestigo Verify Homepage, click on **My Visit Notes** Tab
2. The Default filters will bring in any *Action Items* that are *Pending Site Responses*
3. Locate the Action Item and click **View Visit**
4. Click on the **Visit Notes** Tab
5. Locate the Action Item and click **Edit** on the right side
6. In the **Action Item Status**, select *Removed*
7. Click **Save**
